Privacy Policy

Dearmailo is provided by Schmidt Service Partner AB, company number 559570-0880, VAT number SE559570088001, Sweden, under the Long Lasting Apps brand.

Contacts, lists, campaigns, signatures, attachments, preferences, backups, and delivery history are stored locally on your Mac. Dearmailo does not upload this content to Schmidt Service Partner AB or to a Dearmailo cloud service.

Dearmailo uses the accounts and sender addresses already configured in Apple Mail. Apple Mail manages your account credentials and sends each message. Dearmailo does not receive or store your email password.

macOS asks for Accessibility and Apple Mail Automation permission so Dearmailo can create, format, verify, and send a visible message through Apple Mail. These permissions are used only for the actions you start in Dearmailo.

Before a campaign, Dearmailo may use your Mac's standard DNS service to check available SPF and DMARC records. The app does not run a delivery server, track opens or clicks, or contain advertising or usage analytics.

The number of confirmed trial messages and any activated license are stored securely in macOS Keychain. When you activate or validate a license, Dearmailo sends the license key and a technical activation ID to Dearmailo's license service. Your computer name, contact lists, recipients, senders, email content, and attachments are not sent. Activation identifiers are stored as one-way hashes in the related Stripe subscription record and are used only to activate, validate, or deactivate the license. The service also checks limited subscription information such as status and the current paid period so that annual access and renewal can be enforced.

You can export a backup from Dearmailo's Data & Privacy settings. You can also delete local contacts, campaigns, attachments, and other app data from the app. Removing Dearmailo does not delete messages already handled by Apple Mail.

If you voluntarily join the mailing list on the website, we process your email address, language, Dearmailo interest, signup page or website, and consent and confirmation status. Email is optional and does not affect the trial download, purchase, or use of Dearmailo. These details come only from the website form; they are not taken from Dearmailo or from a contact list you import into the app.

With your consent, we use the information to send Dearmailo product news, practical tips, and occasional offers under the Long Lasting Apps brand. Zoho Campaigns processes the data for us and sends a confirmation email. Your address joins the active list only after you confirm it. Dearmailo itself is not used to send these mailing-list messages. Learn more in Zoho’s privacy policy.

We keep an active subscription until you unsubscribe or withdraw consent. We may then retain the minimum suppression record needed to prevent further marketing and meet legal obligations. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe option. You may also contact us to withdraw consent and request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection, and you may complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection or your local data protection authority.

Zoho may process the information in the United States, the European Economic Area, and other countries where it operates. Zoho states that transfers subject to the GDPR use appropriate data protection agreements, including agreements based on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

The Dearmailo website may create ordinary security logs through its hosting provider. When you choose to buy, Stripe processes payment, subscription, billing address, and tax information under Stripe's own privacy policy. Schmidt Service Partner AB receives the customer, transaction, subscription, and tax information needed to deliver and maintain the license, provide support, meet accounting obligations, and prevent fraud. Dearmailo does not receive your complete card number.

After a verified purchase, the checkout email address, license key, and installation links are sent to Resend, our transactional email provider, solely to deliver the license email or a copy you request. Outgoing license emails are routed through Resend's Ireland region. Resend states that account data, email metadata, logs, and API records are stored in the United States and processes the information under its privacy policy and Data Processing Addendum. License recovery gives the same public response whether or not an address is registered, and requests are rate-limited to prevent misuse. The app does not send contact lists or campaign content to the website, Stripe, or Resend.
